Building on our 1st successful partnership of IDA and Informa Telecoms & Media (ITM) Asia as Co-Organizers, to produce an international cloud computing event drawing 265 participants from 21 countries with a regional focus from 115 organizations, CloudAsia 2012 will take place once again in Singapore from 14-18 May 2012 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel.<br />

CloudAsia 2012, will be a BIGGER & BETTER cloud computing event with a market-focus, industry-led agenda, organized jointly by IDA and ITM Asia. This event continues to be the only UNIQUE FORUM focusing on enterprise and telecom cloud business opportunities, cloud computing marketing strategies, implementation and solutions for the Asia Pacific region.<br />

There are two sides to every coin, and for every product there has to be a willing seller and a willing buyer.  As organisations develop cloud applications, it's important to also understand the issues and concerns of each business customer. This talk will provide a glimpse into the minds of buyers of cloud services, and of those running IT in their organisations. <br />

This talk is organised by the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore, supported by National Library Board, Singapore Computer Society Special Interest Group on Enterprise Cloud Computing and Virtualisation and Imperial College Alumni Association of Singapore.<br />

About the Speaker<br />
Dr Leong Mun Kew is Chief, Strategic IT Management Practice from Institute of Systems Science, NUS.  Dr Leong had received his PhD from Stanford University and has more than 25 years of R&D and commercial experience in IT.  He was previously CTO, deputy CIO and Director of Digital & Knowledge Infrastructure Division in National Library Board and Principal Scientist and Programme Director for Service Research at the A*STAR Institute for Infocomm Research.<br />
